Time Off
What this screen is for
In the panel, the list of a staff member's planned time off: full days, or only part of a day. Each entry can carry an optional reason. This is separate from the collection that closes the whole business (the closures screen under Services) — this one affects only this one staff member.
When you would use this
A business owner comes to this screen from the panel to check a particular staff member's schedule as a whole — what's already booked off, and when.
Who sees it
Only the user matching the owner field on the company document can open this screen; nobody else can manage a staff member's time off.
Where it lives
This screen exists only in the web panel; the mobile app has no separate list screen that is its direct counterpart. On mobile, a staff member's time off shows as upcoming entries in the action sheet opened by tapping that person in the staff list, and can be added, edited and deleted from that same place.
What you can do here
Add time off
The add action opens a blank create form.
Hidden entirely when the business is suspended.
Edit
Tapping an entry opens an edit form pre-filled with its data; each row shows the date, whether it is a full day or a time range, and the reason if any.
Delete
The delete action on each row removes the entry after asking for confirmation.
Hidden entirely on the row as well when the business is suspended.
What the server accepts and refuses
This collection holds only this staff member's own time off
An entry added here affects only the staff member it belongs to; the whole business is closed from a separate collection not tied to any one staff member (closures).
A full-day or overlapping time-off entry makes the staff member unavailable for those hours
With staff mode on and this staff member able to perform the requested services, a request whose hours overlap this staff member's full-day or partial time off is not considered available for them — this affects only this staff member, not the rest of the business's capacity.
