One thread per customer, open on either side
A customer can message a business straight from its profile or from one of their appointments; the business replies from the app or the panel, and both sides are reading the same thread.
On by default
Messaging is open for a business unless it turns the switch off in the panel — a business that has never touched the setting can still be messaged.
Synchronised app and panel
A business owner sees and answers the same conversations whether they open the app or the web panel — neither is a partial copy of the other.
Notified on every message
The other side gets a push notification for every message sent into an open thread, not just the one that opens it.
See when the other side is typing
An open thread shows when the other side is typing, for as long as they keep typing.
Archiving is shared, deleting is not
Either side can archive a thread, which takes it off the active list for BOTH of them; a new message brings it back to active for both, too. Removing a thread from your own list is different — it's one-sided, and the other person's copy is unaffected.
Report a thread
Either side can report a conversation through the same moderation flow the rest of the app uses, on an active thread or a closed one.
- ConversationsThe list of active and archived threads — where a thread is opened, archived, brought back from the archive, or removed from your own list.
- ConversationA single thread itself: its message history, writing a new text-and-image message, the typing indicator, and reporting the thread; a mobile-app-only screen.
