Showcase
What this screen is for
The mobile screen where the business owner picks which products stand out on the profile. It carries a switch that turns the showcase fully on or off for customers, a list of featured products reordered by dragging, and a second list for adding from the rest of the catalogue. The "Manage the showcase" action on the Products screen opens it.
When you would use this
The business owner comes here to decide which products should stand out on the profile, bring a seasonal one to the front, or turn the showcase off entirely for a while.
Who sees it
Only the user matching the owner field on the business document can open this screen.
Where it lives
The screen exists only on the mobile app. The panel's products screen offers the same showcase manager, without ever moving to a separate screen, as part of the same page as the product list.
What you can do here
Turn the showcase on or off
With the switch off, the showcase never appears on the customer's profile; when the field was never written at all it counts as on, so an account that had a showcase before the switch existed keeps it.
Drag featured products into order
A row in the featured list is held and dragged to a new position; the order carries through to the profile's strip exactly.
Remove from the showcase
A row's remove button takes that product out of the showcase; trying to remove one that is no longer there does not error.
Add from the rest of the catalogue
Every active product not already on the showcase sits in its own list below a divider; the add button appends it to the end of the showcase, or does nothing if it is already there.
Watch the capacity
The row at the top shows how many of the maximum are featured; once twelve are reached, a warning line and disabled add buttons make the ceiling visible.
Recognise a deleted product
If a featured product has been deleted from the catalogue entirely, its row does not drop out of the list — it draws with a stand-in name instead, so the counter keeps matching the real total.
See when the showcase is empty
When the showcase is on but no active product is sellable, a warning line says so.
What the server accepts and refuses
Turning the switch off does not delete the featured list
Turning the showcase off only changes a separate field that controls customer visibility; which products are featured stays stored, and turning the switch back on returns the same list.
